Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan, Pimpri, Pune was established by Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil, founder President, in 1984 with the fundamental goal of achieving excellence in education to one and all in all discipline. Pratishthan started D. Y. Patil College of Engineering in 1984. Today within the span of 20 years Pratishthan is running over 55 educational institutes in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Management, Arts, Science, Commerce, Law etc. in Pune. Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan has also education-centers at Mumbai & Kolhapur.

Recently Deemed University status has benn granted to our Medical College by UGC.
